father's day: strawberry picking!
we decided to go strawberry picking on father's day.
of course, the kids loved it. they were surprisingly good at finding berries (although not always ripe!)
max, where are the berries? "I don't know!"
a treasured past time is "driving" in daddy's truck. they love pushing all the buttons...at 8am the next morning it always takes a few moments to remember that it was the kids who turned the stereo up to 11 as well as the windshield wipers and left the turn signals flashing.
max doesn't like to give up the driver's seat
looking rather fetching in his red hair thingy
Z doesn't look all that happy about having eaten a few shovel fulls of sand (click on picture to make it large and see all the sand closeup!)
but she likes to put on daddy's shoes and walk around the house
she's absolutely beautiful (in a kinda filthy way)

It feels terrible to be so far away from them and having the blog as the only chance to see them... Now I understand how grandma and grandpa must feel...
I miss you loads!
Have the forgotten about me already? Or do the still remember?
...of course they remember, we talk about you every single day!
I am glad they remember...
Do you receive my e-mails, or do they get lost on the way? (landing somewhere in your junk folder or something like that?)
Going to see Matt tomorrow, will be back on the 25th.
Saw Paul's comment on my blog :) Thank you!
