teething makes for funny faces

teething makes for funny faces, Max has 2 bottom teeth and is working on his 2 top.

Zadie is just getting her 2 bottom teeth (and she's staying up all night yelling about it too!)

One of the things we love to do is stand, preferably right next to eachother.

But our most favorite thing is to stand on mom and dad's bed and look out the window.

yeah!
I've figured out how to upload little videos...click on the links below (then click "play"):

eating peas...

Zadie thinks that puree of peas is a finger food. She loves feeding herself.

Max is on the delicate side and doesn't like to get his fingers messy (really)...sometimes he'll try and feed himself with a spoon, except that he usually turns it upsidown just before it gets into his mouth.

Portland Center for Reproductive Medicine had a party at the zoo for all the families they had helped over the years. There were 600 people there - and a whole lot of twins! We wanted the kids to meet Dr Helsa - we told them they were going to meet 'their maker'...they look pleased, don't you think?

Max on an elephant...now he looks pleased.

what we like best is the wrapping paper

Michael and Deanne are visiting from Marin and they brought us some really beautiful cashmere hats. We look adorable in them.

But what we really got excited about was...

...the wrapping paper!

Dancing before my morning coffee

The kids can now hold themselves up while standing. They love it. Here they are amazed watching mom do an entertaining dance before her morning coffee.

The weather has been unseasonably hot. We had a couple of days in the 90's and decided to have a 'pool party' in the front yard - we invited passersby to join us (but getting naked was not a requirement).

Out on the town with Sharon the nanny - Max where did you find such a hot babe?!

Everybody loves 'daddy time'.

What Zadie really needs is an eye-shade

Zadie and Grandma - can you see the resemblance?

Zadie likes to sleep with lots of stuff over her eyes, but it concerns us some because we don't want her to suffocate or anything...what she really needs is an eye-shade...a nice rhinestone one, you know, like Kitty Carlisle in What's My Line?

Oh my gosh, there she is again! That really, really cute girl who likes to laugh whenever I do...we have a lot in common, she's hilarious and she's my BEST friend.

holding babies

Aunt Sarah with Zadie

Miriam and Rae holding Max

With twins everyone gets a chance to feed the babies.
