Ania's last days with us

It broke our hearts to see her go. After a year with us, Ania our wonderful Au Pair, went back home to Poland to be with her 'other' family. They don't know how lucky they are...She really became a part of our family and we miss and think of her everyday.

father's day: strawberry picking!

we decided to go strawberry picking on father's day.
















of course, the kids loved it. they were surprisingly good at finding berries (although not always ripe!)



















max, where are the berries? "I don't know!"





















































a treasured past time is "driving" in daddy's truck. they love pushing all the buttons...at 8am the next morning it always takes a few moments to remember that it was the kids who turned the stereo up to 11 as well as the windshield wipers and left the turn signals flashing.







max doesn't like to give up the driver's seat
